Dodge Stealth wheels on a 2G

What does everybody think about these? Ill be needing a new set of at least 18's for a brake kit, and a local chick wrecked her TT Stealth and is parting everything out. I was thinking about buying these 18x8.5 puppies off of her car. If I do get them I was gonna put the 3000gt caps like the ones in the pic. I know they look good and will fit, but I heard that 3kgt wheels were super heavy and wanted to know if anyone here knew if these were just as bad.

I think that they will look good. I am not too sure on the weight. You might wanna try google'in them and see what it says.

I just did. No luck. Found that alot of people hate 3kgt wheels because they apperently weigh about the same as a large 3rd grader.

They're good looking wheels no doubt, but they're chrome so they're going to be heavy. From my 3000gt day I know the VR4 18" chromies are 38 pounds a piece, I wanna say the Stealth 18" were 32 or 33 pounds a piece.

Holy OI! My question is why would they make such a heavy rim that is on a performance car where weight counts. I mean the 3kgt and stealth was heavy enough.

I would get them for show, they are nice looking and could see them looking amazing on a 2g. But for performance, or at the track, i would deffinentally pass.

Yes if you can get a good deal on them get them, especially if they're OEM. Those wheels are very hard to find and you could get a good price for them on the 3S forums as they're highly desirable.

Agree with the above. Keep your stockers for the track, drive with these for the looks.
