thanks

Arright! First. Will it try to run if you spray carb cleaner into the intake while cranking? If it does, then it's not a spark problem. It'a a fuel problem. If it won't run then it is likely a fire/mechanical problem. Ok. Assuming it runs while spraying carb cleaner into the intake. Do you have fuel pressure to the injectors? If so, then it can be either no 12 volts to the injectors or no grounding pulse to the injectors which by the way comes directly from the pcm. Take a 12 volt test light and check to see if you have 12 volts key on engine off at the injectors. If you do, take the test light and hook it to the "positive' side of the battery. Probe the other wire which is not 12 volts and crank the engine. Does the light flicker? Steady light or no light means no injector drive circuilt. You then should then have the pcm scanned to see if you have any codes and probably can diagnose from the available codes as to which way you need to go.

Good luck

Thanks. Will do sir. Now how do you test for fuel pressure because I dont see any valves where you can hook up a fuel pressure gauge? But do I need my map sensor? If you could answer me that one it would really help.

Thanks.
Mike.

Crank the car over, then pull off either side of the fuel rail. If fuel pours out then you have fuel pressure. Oh yeah make sure you have rags handy and are doing this in a vented area.

Got the car running, it was bad cas and igniter so now she runs. But the question is, do I need to put the map sensor on? When you guys swap do all of you guys put the map sensor on? Sorry it took so long.
