DIY Upholstery

Has anyone upholstered their seats themselves? If so, is it difficult and hard to learn? Thanks.

More "knacky" than difficult. You get the upholstery already done, and stretch it over the frames and hog-ring it on. The knack comes in replacing and readjusting the padding, and keeping it from looking like some amateur did it in his living room.

You might find it doesn't cost that much to have a shop do it.

This guy at my school had a green integra , reupholstered the seats himself , did the whole interior white and green , said it took him all winter

I want to do mine too but i'm sticking with my idea of putting an engine in first . If you ever decide to do it yourself , post an article about it , and maybe someday i'll do mine
