Hey
you can use a 3inch GM mass air flow sensor with the mass air flow translator which is a really nice setup for fuel tuning. Also, you can put this GM sensor on the intercooler pipe and vent atmospherically without getting the bog down. You can get them on ebay, or just about any dsm performance shop.

Also if you think that this is good please leave a rep point as I am trying to become a regular member thanks.

Please do not beg for rep points. It makes yourself look very desperate.

As far as the OP goes, check eBay for GM Mafs. They usually go pretty cheap on there.

Also, if you think that this is good, please... errr, wait. Sorry. :D

I was looking this up yesterday. On ebay the GM MAF sensor is going for between $150-200. Plus you need to get the translator(which I'm not sure I was looking at the right item, BUT) that was about $190. So you might invest your money into something that will give your more HP. It's up to you :thumb:

You could get a 2g MAF, they are better than 1g's since they flow more, and can be bought for around $60, but you'll need to wire it in yourself.

I have a GM maf ill sell to you for cheap just pm me if your interested. After purchasing a gm maf all you need if the translator and you can mout it rigth before the tb and you will gain plenty of power. It will flow 100 time better then stock and as a bonus you get to vent your bov which sounds really sweet.;)

You my friend need to see the forest threw the trees. Power mods are good and of course needed but it's the supporting mods that seperate the cars with potential from the real cars.

The GM setup does more than just allow you to vent your BOV to the air which is probably it's most useless attribute as it's just for sound. Your turbo will spool faster because your takin away the restrictive stock or alternate MAF sensor such as a 2g and placing it after the the turbo.

On top of this if you get the v2 translator (which a translator is needed to translate the GM MAF signal to a DSM readable signal for your ECU) you can actually tune your car very similar to what a SAFC does which is WO throttle fuel adjustments. So it will decrease spool time and give you the ability to tune which every DSMer should or does know is the real name of the game. It's not always about slappin on mods you have to get things that help the mods you have work to their full potential that's why they call them "supporting" mods

Yes you can also vent your BOV
