Alrighty, what is the difference between a 4g63 and a 4g63t? I'm a little shaky on the diff. Thanks.

the turbo for engine coes, if a "t" is added at the end it designates turbo. what are you wanting to swap a 4g63t into?

I thought that the non turbo cars were the 420a?

EDIT: or is that just for those that remove the turbo from the stock engine?

1st generation non-turbo cars got the same engine as the 1st and 2nd gen turbo cars, the 4G63 non-turbo.

The only major differences (I can think of in 30 seconds) are a different intake (of course), exhaust manifold, injectors, a smaller flywheel and clutch, a higher base fuel pressure, a higher static compression ratio, and no oil squirters.
