Difference between 90-91 T/E/L turbo and non turbo front bumpers?

I need a new front bumper for my car. Its a 91 TSi awd. When i bought the car, it was already pretty roughed up, and had primer and black spraypaint on it. Over the winter, i hit a snowpile, and it cracked. So, im looking for a new one, cos the duct tape isnt holding up too well anymore.

So, theres a guy on ebay who's selling front bumpers for the 1ga's. Problem is, he specifies the bumper is for a 90-91 nonturbo talon,eclipse, laser. whats the difference? The one he has in his pics look just like mine, so i think i may even have an ESi or DL bumper.

Can anyone help?

Also, there's one not TOO far from me. it came off of a 90 laser. would it fit my car?

Both of those are 1ga non-turbo bumpers, you see the line going through it all the way across its a non-turbo thing as you can see in my profile. The 1ga turbo front bumpers flow smoothfully rounding the front, no recessed line all the way accross just smooth

So on that laser bumper, that black line would be the characteristic of a nonturbo bumper?

The question is, would it still fit my car? I dont mind having a non turbo bumper on my car. Not like im going for looks or anything. Im having it painted all black anyways.

Is it good to go or not?

the 1ga non-turbo front bumpers are pretty much the same. i think there could possibly be s difference between the 1.8 nt and the 2.0 nt (differing metal bumper structure). i know for a fact that the 1.8 rear bumper is different from a 2.0 rear bumper ('90 2.0 and possibly a '91 1.8). most of the FWD turbos came with n/t type bumpers and trim except for the sideskirts. only the FWD and a small percentage of FWD turbos came in the AWD trim. i have heard of difference in the metal bumper structures between the [1.8], [2.0 N/T and FWD Turbo], [AWD Trim]

Dont know if theres a listing with pics, but the folks here pretty much covered it. 1ga front bumpers will look like the maroon laser bumper pic i posted. 1ga turbo bumpers will not have that raised line (which is black in the pic) . All there is too it. As far as rear bumpers and sideskirts, thats where it gets complicated.
