diff between 90 and 91 6bolt block?

is there any difference between a 6 bolt block thats in a 90 TSi awd and a 91 TSi awd? I am planning on doing a rebuild in a month or so and i have a extra block out of a 90 Tsi. I am going to go with the 1g rod and 2g piston with total seal rings and clevite bearings. Will everything switch over just fine? So I have less down time with my car.

Block is the same, coils and power transistors are different.

the oil cooler housings filter housings are different as well. The 90 has a air oil cooler setup and the 91+ is water cooled. No biggie it should be an easy swap in that regards. Best of luck with the swap.

late model 1g's (92-94) have 7-bolts with T-25 turbos on them correct??

no, 90-94 have a 14b turbo, then once it hits 95+, they have t25

so everything from my 91 TSi will swap onto the 90 TSi block with no problems or kits needed correct? I just want to make sure before I get the 90 block out of the car. no difference in crankshafts or anything like that?

I know there are other differences like TB and engine wiring harness and stuff like that and the trans are a little diff. but I just need to make sure of the block cuz thats all I will be using.
