So are there any plans to have any more meets than last year? Even tho the last meet did go so hot.

if we do have people come to my place, i should make some sweet DSMs on forza to show everyone, including the unofficial DSTA talon i made on it and my pac-man eclipse.

I was planning on waiting until spring or summer this year to have a full blown meet again, but if you guys are wanting to have a meet somewhere to grab something to eat then we should soon. If enough people can RSVP that they will attend so we hopefully don't have as bad of a turn out as the second meet then we can begin setting something up now. Let me know your opinions.

thats what ive been tryin to set up here in ames. i talked with adam (gst-spyder) about getting everyone together here in town then setting up a cruise to buffalo wild wings in ankeny or something. actually get out on the hyway for a change u know. so how about this. do we want all dsms? there are several of my friends with rx-8's, evos, audi's and such here in town im sure that would like to join in on the cruise. Feb. 24th......sound good for a set date? lets start gathering everybody again to get ready for the spring meets. 4 weeks should give everyone enough time to rsvp and let me know if they are coming.

Plan is as follows....
Meet at west end of super walmart parking lot in Ames on Feb. 24th at 12:00 noon. After about 30 mins we will then cruise to ankeny to the buffalo wild wings to chat. then a cruise back. Please copy and paste the sign up sheet with your name if ## attending and car you will bring

I doubt the talon is gonna be running yet. On DSTA we had talked about doing this kind of meet in Ames. We had talked about meeting at a sports bar or similar (B-Dubs is perfect) and maybe doing a cruise afterwards.

me and some of the other guys are on DSTA.NET63.NET that redleader started awhile back. its been dead pretty much all through winter since its really a small site right now but hopefully we will be getting more people on.

There are a few members from the farther reaches of Iowa (and even one member from Omaha!) I have added a forum where we share information and events with one another. Kyle, were you perhaps looking at the wrong month? The 24th was a Saturday this month...

But anyway, I'm pretty sure everyone would appreciate it being moved to a weekend if that would be possible.

i would say the 21st of next month. its on a saturday so most people will be off work by then. maybe meet around 4-5 pm then drive down (i say 4-5 because some people still have to work, me included, so it gives people enough time to wind down a bit)
