Hi
I have big trouble: can not loggin, my diagnostic terminal seems dead cause do not can make diagnostic modes too (idle adjustment, timing and so on).
I have 4g63 T engine in my mitsu colt (mirage). That is swap, so not sure that connector is right wired...
I think I forgotten hookup some wire or wire is wrong.
Is there someone who can answer where that wires from diagnostic connector should go?
Thanks for answer, that help me much.
my car have 1g 1990 engine and ecu.

Hey Jerry. I was going to give you a hard time about your english/sentences but then I realized you were from Europe/Poland, so english probably isn't your first language.

I can't be of much help, I can provide you with a link to the 1g ecu pin outs, but as far as what pins from the ecu go to the obdI port, I'm not quite sure:
http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ecu-harness-1G.html

You could search the web for OBDI port, that is what the 90 ecu is. See how many wires goes to the diagnoistic port. Looking at the above link, there is:

1 Self-Diagnosis Output
2 Diagnosis/Data transfer select terminal

thanks for patient and for my english :)

I looked at that schematic and my schematisc it looks as:

1 in ECU is wired to 1 in diagnostic (yellow)
2 in ECU is wired to 10 in diagnostic (white)
vs (reed) is wired to 11 in diagnostic (yellow/white)
ground is wired to 12 in diagnostic (black)

that black (ground) it is simple groung terminal or it must be hooked to something else for working??
(THAT is what i am not sure about that wire and another 3 too, they are alone or connected to anything else?)

so looks as simple
if all is ok why not working?

Sometimes I have had problem with my cabling from the diagnostic to my palm device; bad cable, or connection with the palm. Have you every tried a friend's pocket logger, or maybe an auto parts store that offers checking your check engine light; even though you might not have any check engine lights, they should be able to connect to the ecu with their device and see that there are not Check Engine Lights.

Or it could still be a wiring problem. If it's just four wires, I don't think the positive and negative power wires matter where those come from. That's just my guess.
