Dejon Tools 1g intake pipe flys off the car...

Ok, so my eclipse is running great now that its all setup. We have been trying to keep this pipe installed but its very close with the SBR Race FMIC. it seems to keep coming off at the point where it couples with the turbocharger. Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep it on?

you could try a couple hose clamps and hair spray in the pipes so when it drys the rubber coupler sticks a little better to the metal and is less likley to slip off.

Do not use the fuel hose/coupler shipped with the pipe, you'll be better off even with Home Depot rubber pvc couplers.

I agree, even before i had my FMIC and clearance wasn't an issue with the Dejon intake i had a hard time getting the crappy couplers to get on the turbo. Nevermind after i got my FMIC, intake doesn't even clear my BOV anymore, had to make a custom one!
