I just bought the same intake and have the exact same question?????

One of those hoses go to the charcoal canister under the battery. It is for emissinos and doesnt hurt to leave it disconnected. Just install a bolt in the end to plug it or pull the entire hose off and install a vac cap on the canister. The other hose goes to the pass side port on the vc. I just ran a small k&n filter on the vc and did away with the hose. You can drill holes in the pipe and reconnect them by I personally wouldnt.

In this pic, you can see a hose that goes to an oil can that I installed later.

cool thanks i will go ahead and do that i think i can buy one of those filters at my local autozone..k gotta get goin im intalling that right now as well as my upper and lower intercooler pipes..i will let u know how everything works out. :thumb:

i have everything on my car already. i have a fisrt gen blow off valve..it seems that it's not working right.. when it blows off it almost sounds like the HKS SSQ..why is this? it was working fine before but now it's making that weird sound. did i installed something wrong?

if u wanted.. you couldve paid extra to put 2 nipples on ur dejon tool intake so you can put those hoses. i didnt, and i have the charcoal canister hose just vented to the atmosphere.. and the valve cover i just kept the hose pointing to the ground.. i dont get any blow by so thats not a problem. or you could spend money and make it look pretty and get a catch can.

as for your bov sounding different.. did you get a filter as well when you got the intake pipe? sometimes the bov tends to sound different when you get a filter/intake pipe after coming from stock. if its performing the same i wouldnt see why anything would be wrong..

Which pipe is that? I read on Dejon's site that there is one pipe for Side Mount Intercoolers and one different one if I plan on using a FMIC. I hate buying things twice... so thats why I ask... I plan on going with a FMIC but I would like to get the Intake First (going off the 1G stage one upgrade path) so I would hate to buy an intake that I have to ditch later on when I get the FMIC.

My other question is regarding the MAF... will the pipe work with my 1G MAF... I want to get the GM MAF... do I need to get that first (before the intake)... or am I OK to get the intake, install with my 1G MAF (use the car) and then get the GM MAF and the translator at a future date?
