Hey guys i got another intake pipe question? I have decided not to get the Injen intake because 1.) It cost so much and 2.) I can't find one with the red hoses and couplings. Now, i am looking at the Dejon Tool intake (Part #: CIP-2gS; to be exact.) My question is... on their website they give me four different size turbo "ends" were the intake would bolt up to; 2.75", 3", 3.5", and 4". Which size turbo "end" is my stock T-25 turbo so i can pick the right intake size? Here are a few pictures of the dejon's intake pipe that i am thinking about getting (if they show up?)

Do you plan on ging any bigger turbo wise ? I would get the 3 inch and if needed run a reducer coupler. GOodlcuk

Stock turbo is 2 1/4 or 2.25 " I would also advise to buy a 3" and then just buy a 3"-2.25" silicon reducer coupler. That way, if you get a larger turbo, you won't have fitment problems.

Go with the smallest 2.75", the 3" can barely clear the wastegate actuator nipple on most cars. Unless you want to make a small bracket to clear it a bit better.

No, i don't plan on getting a bigger size turbo any time soon. This is due to my budget at the moment being that i am a freshman in high school. So you guys are saying that i should 2.75" if i am not getting a bigger size turbo? Thanks you guys are a lot of help

When I ordered my 1g intake, I got the 2 3/4" and it came with a 2 3/4" coupler on the end with a little 2 1/4" coupler inside to fit around the little lip on the turbo and slide back farther. So the smaller coupler went around the lip and the larger one slipped over the whole thing.:thumb: Might want to email Dave and see if they still do that.

Hey guys i hate to bring this thread back up but, does anybody know what dejon tool means by "all hoses." Also, in the picture above (the blue intake) i see no nipples for hoses to go on. Is that what dejon tool means by "all hoses"; if you select the the intake with "all hoses" then you will get the intake with all the nipples? Also, if you dont have any nipples on the intake what are the conciquences that i might face? Thanks

BCS vac line nipple, BOV recirc tube, valve cover breather hose, and (not sure of the name) hose from the charcoal canister.

Also, I got the Dejon unit, but I'm not happy with the reducer solution they give you. You want a smooth transition in diameter inside your entire intake system, and the Dejon unit gives you an insert which doesn't give you a nice transition (you get a step that goes from 2.75 to 2.25). Also the Dejon unit's exit will literally touch your compressor inlet, so the nice transition a 2.75-2.25 reducer/coupler gives you will not actually help you and you'll still get a 2.75-2.25 step. The only solution I can think of is to shift the filter/MAS assembly to the passenger side (modify my K&N FIPK mounting bracket) to add a gap between the pipe and turbo or to cut the intake pipe back. Cutting the pipe might not work too well, because there's not much to cut off before it starts flaring and bending. If you have the stock filter box, you can't move it.

Nevertheless, you can get the 2.75 Dejon pipe and use the insert they give you and just live with the step. I'm not sure how much it disrupts flow into the compressor.

So what you are saying is that the intake comes with all the nipples for all the hoses if you select the option of "all hoses"?

Yep. That's what I got, and you plug all the stock hoses back on. If you're dumping your BOV to atmosphere, using a catch can on your valve cover breather, have a MBC, and you've removed your charcoal canister then you would want *no* hoses. And there are of course in-between situations where you've done some of those things, but not all.
