Hey guys i have a few questions about Dejon's "Big" FMIC for my 97 GST. I found it on dejon's website for $800 with my stock t-25 turbo. I am in the market for this FMIC so i am kind of wondering. I am fairly new to all this considering that i am 15 right now so bare with me. First off, i know that the coolant bottle has to be relocated, is this hard to do? Second, will i have to buy a slimmer radiator fan because of the FMIC clearance issues? Lastly, if i get an Injen intake, for example, will the short route upper intercooler pipe run into the Injen intake? Sorry, for the long thread and if could answer these questions it would be really thankful. Thanks:dsm:

Okay first off, i wouldn't recommend a fmic with the stock turbo, i would use that money to do supporting mods and upgrade the turbo, and then when you save up more money get a fmic. As for relocating the coolant bottle, it's not hard at all. I ziptied mine in the hole where my upper intercooler pipe used to go for the smic. Next, i'm not sure about the dejon fmic, but i have the slowboy racing fmic with short route piping and my stock radiator fans work fine. I know for the 1g's slimline fans are a must for short route piping, but like i said my stock fan works fine with no clearance issues whatsoever. And as far as the injen intake pipe, it will work fine with it. The uicp goes way below that so you shouldn't have any problems with that at all. Hope i helped, if there's anything else you need to know feel free to ask.:thumb:

It's more resonable on the 1g cars with a 14b, but on a t-25 i would advise against it. Especially considering how big the dejon fmic is, it will probably flow more air than your t-25 can handle; therefore, you'd probably just lose power as opposed to gaining it.

Exactly. You'll run out of turbo on the T-25 long before you run out of the sidemount's ability to cool the intake charge sufficiently. As Mark also mentioned, the pressure drop will likely hurt performance since the T-25 doesn't flow that much air anyway.

Save your pennies for other mods first.

use that link, I have been using it and it works great, really will help you on your way to getting some great performance from your car. Be sure to shop around though and compare some prices ### you can get ripped off for some of those things. Good luck.
