I've been looking at front mount intercoolers reccently, because I believe I'm going to upgrade to a 16g (eventually, after fuel mods) and feel that a small front mount might be a good idea. I don't want a really big one, because I really would like to keep my bumper solid and I don't want to change my bumper cover to a Talon or other. I have also heard the Supra sidemount will not fit under the Laser's front end. I've looked at the DSM (2g ) Street Frontmount Intercooler from Dejon Tool, and it looks pretty good to me. I understand that it won't flow as great as most aftermarket, but the price is good, and I won't have to do much trimming to make it fit. Will this intercooler give me better performance compared to the stock sidemount, or is it simply a waste of time. I know everyone says that you shouldn't buy cheaper things because you'll buy twice, but I really don't want to do much cutting and sacrafice the structural integrity of my car (past car acident experience). I respect all of your opinions and look forward to your replies. Thank you all in advance.

You heard wrong:p It just flares the passenger side out about 2-3 inches. Great mod for the price, but if you can afford a FMIC, go that route.:laser:

Thanks LandoAWD, I didn't know the Supra sidemount would fit. I'm not a huge fan of bulges in my car that aren't supposed to be there, but then again I'm also more of a fan of go than show. I'm still looking for first hand information with this intercooler, but I'm almost 100% this is the one I'm going to get when I have a little more money to play with, and my other modifications ahead of this one done. Thank you again.

Me and a buddy of mine just installed Dejon's front mount on his 93 GSX. The overall quality was pretty good. I only had three complaints: The installation directions were a joke (easy to figure out after enought staring), the included couplers were a joke, and the core had "DEJON" sprayed onto it. If those things don't bother you then go for it. My buddy is not hitting fuel cut at 11psi at 5k rpms. I hope you have bigger than stock injectors :thumb: :talon:
