Defi Gauge

I just bougt a DEFI gauge for my car used. I installed and it seems to work perfect. Well i was reading on MACHV.com and it said that if I don't have a Defi Link control unit then the gauge wont work. Any ideas???

which defi gauge is it though dont confuse yourself with a different gauge. did u try taking it out for a test spin

ya dude, the gauge reads fine. the only different thing is when at no throttle it is reading at 25 on vac instead of the 20 my autometer used to read.

Wich series Defi gauge did you get? The D series gauge doesn't need Link control unit.
