No questions on what brand I'm getting because I'm getting this

http://www.extremeintercoolers.com/2g_mitsubishi_eclipse.html

for many reasons. Now I just dont know which kit my evo 3 16g turbo would need.

They got street (25" x 7" x 3" )
street/strip(25" x 7" x 3.5")
race (25" x 10.5" x 3")
pro race (25" x 10.5" x 3.5")

I'm going to push my evo 3 to pretty much its max with my mods (dejon tool intake, cone air filter, mbc (soon to be dual setting ebc), fmic, 660cc injectors, 190lph fuel pump (so cant get 255), safc2, evo3 o2 ported housing, 2g intake manifold ported, apexi 3 inch turboback (no cats), act 2100/12 lbs flywheel. i got egt/boost guage/a/f guage).

But I don't think ill ever be at the 450hp level as the street kit is capable of witholding. So should I just get a street kit??

P.S. I want it to fill up my whole open area in my bumper. I dont want to see the top or the bottom of the intercooler. so i might have to go with the race or pro race regardless. What you guys think, is 7 inch height big enought to fill that space in my 2gb?

Hmm might I suggestt he ssautochrome kit. proven and much cheaper then many kits. Short route piping, and does one hell of a job. If you are firm on those kits..you never know what the future holds so just get the bigger one if you got the cash.

i am firm because no other kit has a short route and allows u to keep fog lights (those are musts)

Those are all questions you should be asking the guys at ETS. I'm sure they would be more than happy to answer all of your questions.

The 7" core height is usually the require height to completely fill the front opening. Is notching out your inner bumper/crash bar a big deal to you? If you don't want to do this, then go with the 7" kit. As for thickness, I probably wound't recommend the larger 3.5" core if you still have the AC installed (& condensor core) as it will restrict even more airflow to the rad, which is never a good idea. Currently it looks like your happy with your turbo but goals always seem to change, so personally I'd just go with the race core & be done with it.
