Okay so today I was greasing up the pistons and walls wile the head is off so i dont get any surface rust, well I thought I would grab a socket and turn the crank slowly, i noticed it would only go about a turn and stop, then a turn the oposite direction and stop, i proboly could have turned it with some force but didnt want to mess anything up, other than that the pistons go up and down good for that first crank. Is this normal? Also i have a 6 bolt 92 eclipse gst.
. Either way as bad as I want to sell it right now after finding this out, I guess I'm going to stick it out.
wishful thinking sense i have a couple of extras around! And if it does turn out that he used caps from another block I'm going to half to replace the hole block because the nearest shop that align hones around is in like Little Rock or Memphis, and it will probably be easier and cheaper to just pull a block from another car.
