i was messing with my talon last night and took off my intercooler piping, to find out that the 90 degree reducer coupler has been rubbing off to my fan.
i have no clue what size to get, i know my pipping is 2.5 but the j pipe is the size i want to know. i guess its a regular jpipe for a 16g. is it 1.75 or 2 i would check my car but i left it at home. i have some free time so i thought i'd ask so i can order one tonight. thanks

Sounds like you need a new/different j-pipe, if the old coupler was rubbed off it obviouslt sits too close to the fan, replacing the coupler will only result in the same thing happening redering installing a new one pointless.

well i just clipped the fan a little bit and is now about 1 inch away from the j pipe. i have some slim fans sitting around i just haven't had time to put it in.

by clipping the fan you mean one of the blades or the braket around the blades
