Ok i'm looking at possibly getting Corbeau seats for my GST, and from what i've found the CR1's are nice and I can get them shipped for about 400 each. Now what are the differences between these seats and a sparco torino which are 600 shipped? Anybody have these seats or know anybody that does? Am I better off spending the extra 400 and getting sparco?

i have the sparco seats and they are really comfortable... have you ever had the chance to feel the difference between a sparco seat and some less expensive seats?? in almost every occasion the sparco is much more comfortable... this is because sparcos are made with memory foam (about like the tempurpedic beds) which enables the seats to mold to your body, giving a glove like fit... i cant say that i have ever had the chance to sit in the corbeaus but they have had really good reviews... i can vouch for the sparcos, i like them a lot... you just dont want to have to go on a road trip in uncomfortable seats...

What kinda sparco's do you have? and where did you get them from and for how much? Pictures?

i got them off ebay, but yes they are real... i dont have any pics with them in the car, this is because as soon as i put them in i pulled them out and now i am doing my own fully fiberglass interior... i have the sparco evo III... they are comfortable... i think i got them for 565 shipped each something like that... they are black and im getting the inserts redone in orange...

Corbeau's are good seats. But I enjoy my Sparco's, though I really want to get rid of them and buy myself a set of Bride's just to change things up.
Don't forget about seat bases & brackets. The Sparco seats bases with tab brackets and sliders ran me an extra $200 for each seat.

My friend Tyler had Corbeaus in his RX7. They were undeniably the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. The memory foam molds to your butt and the seat cover material is extremely soft and smooth. I rode in his car on a five hour trip to Chicago and back and didn't complain once. I'm also looking at CR1's for my car, but won't be able to afford them for quite some time, unfortunately.

Awesome, good to hear some good feedback on them.

Are they the wide or normal size? Maybe I can buy them off of you in the next few months if you decide to sell them.

I could've sworn the Sparco Torinos at Super Autobacs (in Stanton where we had the meet this past weekend) were $499, and you wouldn't have to deal with shipping. I could be wrong on the price.. you might consider taking a drive up there and checking them out anyway though. They had a few other seats, maybe something will work for you. Their prices seemed ok, not the best i've seen, but the lack of shipping charges might make up for it.

They were sitting on a box on display, too high to sit in, but i'm sure if you're serious about buying them, someone on staff would probably help you out.
