I just got back from a half hour ride in 88* heat. According to my datalogger after a bit of driving and a few hard pulls (0 knock) my coolant temps were reading 226* on the pocketlogger and 240* on MMCD. They seemed to settle around 223* on pocketlogger and 235*on MMCD after a few minutes of normal driving. Even while running this hot my factory gauge was barely past halfway and wasn't even close to the red. I'm thinking these temps are pretty high right? Also I don't know which logger software to believe..?? What temps are considered overheating?
So far I've done these to try and bring temps down a bit with minimal success.
Fluidyne radiator
Removed a/c condensor
new OEM radiator cap
new 180* thermostat
flushed radiator
added water wetter with a 60/40 mix water/anti
14" slim fan
Built ducts/scoupe around the fmic and sealed off the radiator for max airflow through it
Put heat shield on exhaust manifold
burped all air bubble out of system
compression test is near perfect on all 4 cyls (low 160's)
I'm not sure what else to do. I mean the factory gauge always used to run straight up right dead in the middle so I don't know what coolant temps used to run at. Only reason I started logging them is one day the needle was about 3/4 to the red zone. My radiator cap was leaking and after fixing that it never got that hot again. I do notice now that the stock gauge does sit a little higher now than it did before so thats why I'm being so cautious I guess.
Any help/info is appreciated
Thanks

, have you ran anykind of radiator cleaner/flusher through it?
