My car is leaking coolant(dripping) only once I start the car and it warms up a bit. When I shut it off it stops. I pulled off all the timing covers and alternator, and it doesent look like its coming from the water pump(thats what I thought it was) but there is no sign of coolant around it. Just coolant all over the oil filter housing. I dont think its a line because I replaced them. It must spray a bit because its getting on the alternator and timing belt. Could it still be the water pump seal? or im thinking oil filter housing?

It sounds like the oil filter housing to me. If that's where it looks like it's coming from, that's most likely it. You need to clean it off really good and then let it warm up while you lay underneath it and try to find where the leak is coming from. Maybe it's a line you just didn't get tight, or maybe it's the housing. Good luck:thumb:

sounds like the water line that runs from the water pipe to the oil filter housing is leaking. It's pretty much right above the oil filter housing.

Exactly. No one ever changes those lines unless they break which is REALLY bad because of how fast it'll overheat.

Rule of thumb: if you have never personally replaced those lines, once you do a coolant flush or something of the sort, replace them because they are most likely soft and squishy and about to burst.

ive replaced the that line above the oil filter housing. Im thinking its the oil filter housing itself. I cant see any coolant near the water pump but the oil filter housing is still covered in it.

Did you solve this problem? I noticed my filter/cooler started doing the same thing. After high boost applications I would smoke for like 5 seconds. I checked my coolant levels and it had dropped a lot. It seems as if the cooler simply turns and locks into place, for whatever reason it was loose... I'll have to further investigate when I get the chance.
