Confirmation on my paint code

A white 95 Eagle Talon TSi AWD built in April 94. The plate in the engine bay is faded but doing some research I've come up with W12 as the paint code.

I'd love to get a confirmation on that before the bumper goes in the paint booth.

any paint store can easily show you paint chips with the codes. its rare that you will have two similar colors from a single manufacturer in a single year so its usually pretty easy to find without much effort.

If you plug your VIN into CAPS/ASA you'll get an exterior option code, your paint code is in it.

Crap, looks like ASA can't find Eagle VIN #s.

I tried CAPS as well. It gave me some information but the Exterior box is blank.

You could try calling a Chrysler dealership/parts department with your VIN and hope they can tell you the exterior code. It may depend on what your production date is as Mitsubishi didn't bother recording exterior codes on DSMs (at least, nothing shows up in CAPS or ASA) until late in December, 1994.

My production date is April 94, so that's probably why.

So far all I could find is W12, so I should OK. I guess I"ll find out when the bumper comes back from the shop
