Ok ever since I installed my ebay16g I either get surge or flutter, I tried adjusting the screw in the back of the BOV but it didnt do a thing. It only happens when I shift or let go of the gas.

Any suggestions? Oh i have the HKS SSQV thanks guys

Is it a quick SSSHHHHssshhhhSSHhhhSSHHhhh or is it longer and the same amount of time between flutters but just gets progressively quieter? My crushed 1g BOV flutters occasionally at low boost.

I got rid of my SSQV because of the "flutter" that they're known for. But yes mine sounded like that and was working properly.

Hey guys no my MBC and is hooked up correctly to my jpipe and and to the WGA the BOV is just hooked up to the vacuum line to the intake mani, Im gonna try and see if I can borrow a BOV from someone and try it, my buddys TIAL with a 16g sounds the same too.

thats just the hks ssqv like everyone else says. that adjustment screw does little to nothing, thus why its actually removed in current versions. more technical details of this can be found by searching "hks" and its the longest thread regarding an hks bov. how much boost are you running?

this is authentic ssqv right?

So I guess its just typical SSQV flutter right? It didnt flutter with my 14b but it does with the 16g, Im running about 19psi and yes it is a genuine HKS, thanks guys.
