Color matched RMDSM Lip

Can ssomeone show me a pic of an eclipse with an rmdsm lip color matched to the car, preferably white. do you guys think it would look better color matched or leave it black? thanks.

there is a guy over on talk bad 16g gsx or something like that he posts alot, well he has a red 2g with the lip painted red as well and well I doesn't look good at all. The front of the car looks to big I don't know its hard to explain tyr and find pics, iw ould do it for you but they banned me for no reason so uh ya don't do it.

I suppose you could say that it's color matched to a black car....

I would leave it black. It adds contrast and makes the car look more aggressive.

I think it looks best black....but if you have a dark colored car like above it doesn't look horrible. If your car is red keep it black

Mario used to have a color matched lip. I would personaly leave it black, but that is only cause it would match my car alot better. (CF Hood, gunmetal wheels) But it all depends on the color scheme you want going on for your car.

Personally I think they look ugly as hell. Totally out of place on the car. But I can see the value in protecting your bumper.

HOWEVER, I think thye look infinitely better when they are painted to match the car. So I would say if your set on getting one, definitely paint it.

yup, thats my car. I prefered to make it color matched but then again, I only put on the lip at shows since it makes it too low. I'm probably going to go with a cf lip soon.

the green is jaguar british racing green and the black has a small amount of green pearl in it (althought you can't see it)

I think that lip only looks good on a black car because a black car is the only color that hides the unmolded gap where the lip connects. I say don't buy it. Your front end would be lower than your sides, if they're stock. If you just want to change the front end, maybe save up and get a stillen front if you like it. If you're set on the lip, I'd keep it clean as possible and go with white and paint anything that's black in your front end white as well, like the fog assembly, but not the air intake inserts, leave those black if you have them.

personally i do not like the lip unless it is carbon. It doesnt match the lines at all, considering the stock front stops at a flat line and there is no body line to match up to. i like the stillen front; it is alot like stock (retains fogs and sidemarkers) but adds a lip at the bottom and scoops on the sides...

adding this front lip painted makes it tall (as previously stated) and also isn't smooth, just a line and what looks like another bumper face... oh well its your car, do what you would like, that's all that counts.

ive been debating this myself, at some points it looks awesome black, and others it looks nice painted. i guess it really just depends on your own personal taste. im gonna get mine put it on as black, ride for a bit, and if i dont like it then paint it. But heres the pics that convinced me to paint it.

yea i agree with all of you that in a way it doesnt match the lines of the car and hangs to low in the front. im still undecided if im gonna get one. i think i would leave it black if i had a dark car, but my car is all white and im not sure how a black lip would look on white.

if you molded it, id say color match it. a molded RMDSM lip is something ive always wanted to see. but if your just gonna stick it on there, leave it black, or CF
