Does someone know the color code for "Candy Orange", where i can find it, or whether it even exist a spesific color code for candy orange?

My car is painted candy orange, and i want to fix a scratch, but don't know anything about the color except the name...:coy:

One company's candy orange may be different from another.

That is your Avatar, but other oranges can look like this:

Everyone's different, but try to figure out what brand your paint is. House of Kolor Kandy Orange will be one color, while Dupont Standox will be another, but if you find out your brand, then you can touch up what you need to touch up.

Are you repainting or blending a spot on your car? Or are you just trying to find a touch up pen or something? It will be hard to find a touch up pen that color, and repainting/blending will be very hard with a kandy color.

Good luck with whatever you do :thumb:

Thats what i was afraid of... :(
I bought it used, from a guy who bought from a guy who sold it for someone else etc, thus no one knows anything about the car

I was thinking of getting the whole rear repainted, bacause it has a little crack...

Perhaps if you were to post some good sized pics, we could help you figure it out and you could blend it well enough. Where is the crack? It helps if you post as much information in your original posts when asking questions of this nature, or any nature.

It's really hard to show a color using pictures, since camera settings/lighting is deciding what the color looks like.

Here is a few pics though:

I'll take some better pics later, including a macro picture.

Edit: Just found this guy's car, and it looks pretty similar...? Maybe mine is a little lighter.

I don't know anything about car paint, but as far as i understand this color is not just something you mix with a normal orange paint - it's sold as a finished paint, ready to spray - but theres variations in look by the different producers?

Thanks for helping.

since you dont know the code i would first see if that IS A TRUE CANDY, then try to find a color to match up. What you want to do it to paint the damage area keep it small as possible the reclear the side of the car to minimize that any work has been done on the car........
