a little while back i changed out my slave and master clutch cylinders. ever since then every time i press the clutch in it sounds like im stepping on a furby. anyone got any ideas on how make this go away?

Furbys don't like being stepped on? Just kidding. You probably have a throw out bearing getting dry and old. You'll have to pull the trans to repair this. Check the disc and pressure plate while you are in there and replace all of them if you have any question. By the way, turn the flywheel too and check that rear main seal also.

Good Luck

well that really sounds like a great time. i just dont get why this happened with the new master clutch cylinder. it wasnt doing this before i replaced it.

I would guess its your pedal assembly that is squeaking, not a TOB. Spray some WD-40 on the moving parts of the assembly and see if that helps.

It's the assembly like he said. I had the same problem the day I bought my 2g it did it. Sprayed it down with some good silicone spray and never heard a peep out of it after that.
