finally finish installin my new clutch and wtf. i changed my clutch because i had a squeeky grindy noise comin from the trans. i figured it was the throw out bearing. thats what every one else thought also. i installin the new clutchmaster stage 1 clutch & bearing . i greased it all up .and not only is the noise still there BUT my pedel pressure is less then half it was with the stock clutch.i blead the lines and the pressure picked up alittle but still not close to stock.

does anyone have any ideas whats up with my pedel pressure. and my noise.
im lost.

When i installed clutchmaster stage 4 which has a higher capacity pressure plate than the stage 1, it still felt softer than my stocker. I wouldnt worry about the softness as long as it is completely disengaging the clutch. Can you go into gears without it grinding; if so you should be okay. If its making the squeky noise while the clutch pedal is moving then it could be that little pivot ball. My was making that after my first engine pull so when i had to pull the engine out again i replaced the fork, pivot, and that little retainer and it stopped squeking. All those parts come in a kit from dodge for like 30 bucks.

yes it shifts fine. i have no problem gettin into gear. do you kno the name of the kit you can get from dodge?

Went look through all of my dodge receipts. ITs part number 4796665. Cost me 28.75 about a year ago. Honeslty though, how bad is the squeking? I mean, ifs its not too bad there is no way in hell i would be pulling the tranny out again. You know that the clutch and TOB are good now. Well what ever you do, good luck.
