clutch fork?

I'm pretty sure that the evo fork fits into the dsm trans but I think it is the evo8 forks will work with the 2g trans. You may need to check with TRE for sure. Good luck.
 
^^^Relatively strong. Mine broke with my ACT 2600.

I think machv.com may have a stronger one available. I'm pretty sure you can have a machine shop shot peen it for added strength. I was luck enough to get taboo's clutch fork before he went down under.

exactly my point i think the stock fork cant handle the aftermarked clutches :nono:

but if it's old (say 80k and up) it has a higher tendancy to bend or break. These things happen.
Do you think just cause you slave and master wear out and "break" does that mean you will need some suped-up slave and master to handle your new or even stock clutch?

Just replace it if you're digging around in your tranny.
Everything has an MTBF (mean time between failures).

edit: of course im not putting down a stronger fork by any means, If you can easily get one then why not? Just saying the stock fork is plenty strong if it's new/in good shape.
 
The stock fork will be just fine with say a ACT 2100. Which I'm my opinion in a FWD you shouldn't need any more unless your running slicks.

Exactly. I have a 2600 and the stock shift fork and my car shifts perfect and hasn't broken or show any signs of breaking. If you are intent on getting a new fork by all means go for it, but a new stock fork and ball, less than 75.00 for both, will be just fine.
