My clutch fork moves side to side about an inch freely, not the way it moves when pushed by the slave, is this a problem. My clucth hasent been disengaging, sometimes it works perfect Other times it won't work at all, I'm just tired of changing parts and nothings fixing it.

There is only a couple of parts that area in the area you're talking about.
Slave pushes the fork that moves the release bearing. If the fork moves to much and you're having trouble with the clutch sometimes, I would say release bearing.
Now there is two plastic/nylon tabs on the fork if I’m not mistaking ( My son has an auto 1998 GSX), that if those are bad or worn it can cause the probles your talking about and I don't know for sure but you may be able to remove the fork without removint the trans.
Just something to think about.

You will not be able to remove the fork without first removing the transmission.

Some movement is ok, but it should be rather secure. Not loose and floppy or anything. Just start from the top. Ensure the master and slave are in good condition and bled thoroughly.

Can you post a pic of the location of the fork, I would like to see what location has the fork at the transmission, I have a feeling that your fork might need some shimming, just take a pic and post it here to see where is located.

Also, you have to adjust the clutch to have a good engagement, fallow this instructions.
