I have a 95 GST with a 2 year old, give or take, ACT 2600 w/ street disc. When I got into my car today, and depressed the clutch pedal there was a strong vibration and noises from the tranny. Sometimes it goes away for a gear but it comes back.I'm pretty sure the noises are the TOB, but I asked a friend and he says I have chatter, probably from when I put the new motor in a few months ago and one of the bolts on the pressure plate came loose. The vibrations getting worse so I just parked it until I can get into it to find the problem. Anyone know what I should be expecting? Broke spring, loose bolt, warped clutch disc or flywheel???? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If it does it when you depress the clutch and it does indeed dis-engage I would look at the disc a little closer. Either way, it looks like you may be pulling the transmission.

Good Luck

UPDATE!!!!!!

Found the problem! Yeah the spring fell out when i took off the pressure plate. :dsm:
