I have a couple questions right now my cars going to the body shop to get reoainted soon and have a couple things altered. but i was wondering what i should use to clean my head liner, if theres anything special that won't ruin it or make the material fall down. also i would like to admt i dont think things through sometime and i messed up my driver side window it pops off track when i gets to the top everytime i take the door apart and put it back into the roller it pops right back off again...any ideas?

i work detailing cars and the last thing you wanna do is soak your headliner LOL..but your best buy is to buy a good, deep penetrating foaming cleaner and just use a scrub brush lightly and then scrub it pretty good with a rag..but definitely try it in a corner first to make sure is doesnt change colors..good luck!

Thanks for that i appreciate it i love and baby my car. i wanna keep it looking clean. i talked to a friend i know about the head liner issue and he said try shout that sound safe to you?

yeah it might work..but i would maybe try and mix a little with some water first and see if it works cause its less likely to take out the dye..but if not try it straight in a corner

In my old car i steamcleaned the headliner very gently, it came out perfect (had alot of tar-buildup from too many late night bong sessions i suppose ROFL) just don't get it too wet like stocker said. As for the window problem, take the door panel off and check the tracks, make sure they are somehwat clean. Also look for any of the plastic clips that may have fallen off when shutting the door. In my first 1g i took the door panel off to figure it out, and it magically started working perfect. After i bolted everything back on, i noticed that one of the clips was lying on the ground, i guess it had been binding the window, and after taking the panel off it had fallen out. The window problem is one of those generic "DSM problems", much like the oil gauge.
