Choosing Tires . . .

hey guys, i was looking for some tires (99gsx) and came down to Yokohama AVS ES100, - - - http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...=false&cs=215&pc=43084&rd=17&vid=006312&ar=50 - - - let me know what you guys think before i purchase these, and what some of the tires you guys are using, how do you like them or whatnot, and how much you paid for them . . . a greater selection can be seen here - - - http://www.discounttiredirect.com/d...r=1999&sw=false&cs=215&vid=006312&rd=17&ar=50 - - - (theres a second page) . . . anyway, just wondering which tires are right for my car, what do you guys recommend - - - thanks

I had those tires and I hated them, worst tires I've ever had.

I'm partial to the Toyo T1-S. Best everyday spirited driving (but not track) tire I've ever put on my talon.

Pony up some money and get the AVS Sports. They work WAAAAAY better than the ES100. I live in WA and these tires are great even in the worst weather. Mine are also siped. BFG T/A KD and KDW are awwesome too. The KD's hold the record for grip right now.

Goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3. never had a problem with them and work great in any weather. havent had much chance to try out in snow but they did better than the crap tires on my car right now

Falken Azenis Sport (not the ST-115's), as long as you don't ever have to drive in the rain.

I have always ran either Bridgestone or Yokohama. I have the AVS Sports on my Rota's, the Bridgestone RE 950's on my stock's, and I had TOYO T1-S's pn my 96 GSX. I loved all of them. I think my favorite though would have to be the AVS Sports. They can handle whatever you through at them I think.
