when you need boost, and engine bay isnt gonna take the snail, and a KB or Whipple isnt in the budget, its your best bet.

and the lag aint that big of a deal, its a V8 so the torque is gonna make up for it until it spools. plus all that piping also acts as a 15' heat exchanger, since air is moving under the car its also cooling down the pipe. plus they can get away with a smaller hotside because the air is more dense from cooling down after the motor, so it will spin the hotside faster than if it was right at the header.

Where are you at in the other Turbo Vette/camaro/transam thread? theres alot of people like the original thread poster trying to pass unknowing opinions as facts and only a handful of people trying to show that it works.
