check out this I/C

What the hell is wrong with this I/C its only 200$ and its huge, why would you pay more than 400$ for even smaller I/C (greddy, SBR or .....). I got thhis one today..........
tell me what counts for good I/C

It doesnt really matter how big the intercooler is, It matters how well it flows. Sometimes a stock smic will outflow some of the junk they have out anymore. I guess you will find out if it is good or not.

You get what you pay for

Also, I really doubt their flow numbers and pressure drop numbers are accurate. When you buy a brand name core, you're paying for top-notch quality, real-life numbers, and real results.

i should post this tread earlier , i let you guys know how it works, but i'm gonna have problems now to find right piping for this I/C.........any reference?

JCWhitney sells alumized bends, which I think are the cheapest on the market, and the best bang for the buck. 2.5" 90* bends are $10.99 a piece. NAPA sells 2.5" truck radiator hose that works great as couplers, and also sell t-bolt clamps for 2.50 or so a piece.

Dont worry yet, you might get surprised on how your frontmount works after it is installed. For one thing, it can't be worse than the stock SMIC.

Those are the bends.

I do not have links to NAPA's stuff. Go in to any NAPA store, tell them you need 2.5" ID truck radiator hose. Ask to see their exhaust catalog, and find the clamps section.

It should not be to hard to make the piping, I made my own piping also, But I bought it from advanced auto, Which is press bent. Maybe I will get mandrel bent after awhile but for now it is holding up great. I also recommend t-bolt clamps, You will never blow off an i/c pipe.

That core is marketed all over ebay. I have seen at least 10 vendors that sell those cores, they are made in taiwan and are not quality. Also the numbers they provide are absolute BS!

for a 16g it woud be a good upgrade, but anything providing massive need for cooler charged air it would be ineffecent. its a bar/plate. so its not going to increase pressure dop as well as tube/fin stye. i think its a good upgrade. congrats.

watch out because the inlet and oulet are 3" and that is basically for a huge turbo unless you run reducers but that will hinder your performance.

how do you know ,are those good quality or not , give me something that is gonna convince me in what you talking about. Is that only guess or ......... :thumbdown
