Want to impress your lady? Immortalize here face on a jack-o-lantern. This takes a couple of hours but is worth some serious “You Must Really Love Me” points. Much better than flowers.

Happy Halloween.

Very nice, but "immortalize" is terrible word choice, that thing will be done in a few days, LOL. Maybe she'll think that's what you want . Really good job though.

No it's not marker, we bought woodworking tools (small gouges) and scraped the inside thin (1/2" maybe) with a spoon. My buddy had used Photoshop to make a pic of my car (the one in my sig) so I printed that out big, drew the wheels in, transferred the whole pattern on by poking tiny holes, and gouged until it looked right :) It took maybe 2 hours start to finish. Light will shine thru a pumpkin if you take the top layer of rind off, I didn't believe it either until we did it. I have a light bulb in there now... it's funny to see a cord coming from the back of a pumpkin :D Thanks for your comments guys (and girls).

i know, i know... should have done a 1g to be different.. but with three 2g's in the driveway, it seemed more than appropriate

haha, someone on a local forum asked "how long till the pumpkin breaks?" peckerhead.

Same goes with flowers. Thats why if you really care about a girl, give her a potato.

LOL, my ex always used to take one from the bouquet and dry them in her closet, she had a pretty good collection when she randomly stopped talking to me.

So its a tradition in my family to always do pumpkins ( even though im 18 now :p ). So I thought this year I would represent! Talon and Plymouth owners, I still got love for you too. I just just didnt feel like carving that much.

Anyways the first one is my sisters boyfriends, then my sisters, then ofcourse, mine.
[Too big, try again next year.]

i was expecting to see the outline of a dsm, that would be sweet, i guess that would be hard though, anyways looks good

I saw this last year and saved a picture of it. I don't remember who did it, but maybe they will own up here.
