cheap/good struts to go with 2" sprint springs

I have a 1990 eclipse n/t with a 150k on the stock suspension it's about due to be changed. I have researched and seems like Sprint 2" drop lowering springs is the best bang for buck i can afford. I was looking into kyb gr2's and i was wondering if there were any cheaper that could take the abuse of a 2" drop. Also would i need a camber kit? How low would that really drop my car like 1.5"? or would it drop it like 2.25" after settling. I have 17's with some nasty wheel gap right now.

The GR2s are stock replacements so they're basiclly supposed to be a high quality stock strut. Look into something more of a performance strut to match your springs. The Koni Sports are ideal but I totally understand not being able to spend $600 on just shocks. Tokiko Illuminas are recommended by RRE and a friend of mine has them on his 97 GST and has been happy with them for over a year. He has tokiko springs with them though so there may be differences.

I don't think tokico makes shocks for 1Gs.
