yes, this is probably a really dumb thread, but i just didn't understand this

i walk out of my girlfriends house and start driving and heard something so i went out and checked around my car to see what was up and i saw i had a flat. so i pulled over to the side, did everything you're suppose to do to change a tire, but when i had all 5 lugs off, the tire wouldn't come off. so i popped my wheel cap off thinking stupidly maybe there's another lug under? and its just something else that i don't know what it is.
so can anyone answer me why my tire wouldn't come off after all 5 lugs were off

and how should i replace my wheel cap back on, cause it's being a bi*** to put back on

When kicking the crap out of it, walk all the way around the tire not just one spot. Rims have that problem as cars get older by seizing up and sticking to the rotor. If all else fails, get someone with a bigger foot.

Make sure the car is well supported before you go banging on the wheel, I wouldn't trust the factory emergency jack. As far as the center cap goes, are these stock wheels? The center cap must come out from the back side of the wheel, if you got it through the front you broke it. If they are aftermarket wheels it would be hard for us to tell you what you have to do as procedure can vary between brands.
