I read vfaq.com but i have one question,When i changed my tranny fluid yesterday i didnt need to use a funnel/hose casue the fluid i bought the bottle was pointed so it fit it good, but I was wondering if it can be done on the rear or do I need to use the funnel/hose

thanks

You will have to use a hose that screw's onto the end of the bottle. Pick one up for about $3.99 at any parts store. They make changing fluid so much easier. Just pop the top and out the fluid dumps.

When we did mine, we just used a length of spare silicone vacuum hose. If you've got some around, you can cut the nozzle thin enough to fit inside the hose and just stick the other end in the fill hole. I didn't know they had special hoses that screw on.

I just bought a little hand pump that screws on to the top of the bottle. Stuck the hose in and pumped the oil in worked really good and didn't make a mess. :thumb:
