ok i have a gst 97 as u can see, well anyway, i have the double deck radio thats infinity with cd and tape... i dont have a cd changer, but i know my car can come with that option... now my boss used to have a 96 3000gt, he crashed it a while back and saved his 12 cd changer ( really 6 but has two sets of 6's LOL) and one day he saw my radio and gave me his cd changer, he said all i need to get is the wire from the back of my radio to the cd changer. now the cd changer he gave me has 2 wires coming out, he told me that the wire i will get from the dealer will split to two at the end, one for the power and other for the sound and all, is this correct? am i missing something else? talk to me, what do i need, thanks! :dsm:

The 6 disc is not compatible with that radio. Trust me I know from experience. You need the 10 disc changer. Your wires should be already in the car from the factory whether yours came with the cd changer or not. Check behind the right panel in your trunk.

This has been one of my early pet projects- I'd not run across a double-six setup anywhere.

If you look into getting that DIN cable from the dealer, stand by for a very rude awakening. $!$!$!$!
