Alright, so I just got done freshening up my pos vr4(ported head,16g, 2g exhaust mani, emissions delete, 4ws delete, etc.) and now the car won't start. I thought it was just because I let the car sit for a while, but I pulled out my charger, let it charge, start it up and after about 30 secs the car dies.
If I try to turn it back on the starter just cranks slow then the car dies out, like the batteries dead. So I took a known good battery off of my 2g, starts up, 30 secs later, car dies and seems like battery's dead. I charge that battery too, same thing happens.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point.
Could incorrect ground placement cause this? Maybe I forgot one or something?

Also, the starter is fairly new(few months old), but I'm going to pull it off tomorrow and take it to be checked.

Any ideas?

What everyone is going to tell you to do is a BLT. First thing i would check if I was you is all of my power wires. Grounds, and positive power. Make sure good connection is good on all of those and its not loose or corded. One thing to try is make another body ground from the body. I had sort of the same problem with my car when i first got it. And this guy made a ground from the battery to a bolt on my strut tower. Well the connection got bad and my dash lights were freaking out and it was dieing on me. And another thing i would check if your fuel pump is sending fuel. It could just be feeding that little pump it does when we key on. Another thing to is hook up a voltage meter to it. Could be your alternater is bad. Im pretty sure if you give it throttle it wont die? It will only die when its ideling. So check grounds and positive power. Fuel pressure. And voltage to see if the alternator is charging the battery. Also check for a parasitic drain. Heres a link for what a parasitic drain is and how to test it. http://www.google.com/m/url?client=...cQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNHaFRYShQlQAorBvxmJVtFJL_xq7g

Post back if you have any more signs that can gelp is get a better idea.
