I'm dropping the trans for some work, and while taking off the hardware for the 2 carrier/driveshaft bearings, the rubber on all of them was falling apart and everything else was overall in poor condition.

I've looked through the websites of all of the supporting vendors and can only find new bearings, but all I need is a new set of hardware to bolt mine back up.

Anyone have any other places I can look?

No one? Would pics help or does everyone just reuse their junk stuff?

LOL you didnt need to drop the drive shaft to drop the tranny.. But better to fix the stuff now.

JNZ Tunning has all the hardware required give them a call.

I tried searching on that complicated layout they have but couldn't find it. But I spoke with Gary at Mitsu graveyard and he said he was pretty sure he had a good set, but hasn't got back to me yet, and I left another message today. If he doesn't get back to me tomorrow I'll give JNZ a call, thanks!

I thought the same thing, you just need to unbolt the xfer case and set it on the floor, with driveline attached or all your gear oil will flow out.

I didn't like the way it was hanging down after I dropped the transfer case, and I noticed how crappy the hardware was, so instead of wiring it up I just dropped it as well so I could replace them. And I wasn't worried about the gear fluid because it hasn't been changed since I've owned the car, so it will have fresh fluid when everything gets bolted back up.

I'm anal about small stuff like that, it isn't going to cost me but $10-15 at the most I would think so I figured I would replace it while it was being torn apart...

Yeah its hard to fine on the website It's easy if u call them up.

For the hardware that mounts the drive shaft to the chassis I bought ss hardware at a supply store and you can get the rubber bushings at Mitsubishi. But I just bought a whole new drive shaft so didnt have to do that this time around.

Unfortunately the last Mitsu dealership closed up shop a while back, so I'd have to drive to Houston(1 hour) to get them :ohdamn:

I can't remember exactly what part of the carrier assembly it was that I needed and it might have been the rubber part also. I went to pick and pull and got it off a awd suburu carrier assembly. I remember how similar they were and that's what I used.
