CARBON hood defective. PIX what will cause this.

Well, ive had the hood on for a total of 2 driving hours, and THIS IS what i find when i get up today.

4 semi circle shapes.

in a square pattern.

Any Ideas?

Is there any bracing underneath those points?

more not really, its got another layer underneath of fiberglass looks like.

im thinking after they formed the hood, they stacked several on top of them. before it was stiff, and the spacers between the hoods created small dents.

and they just tried to cover it up with the clearcoat.

Not sure, my hood has a couple of small penny sized ones that you have to _look_ for. Was always like that, never bothered me, no one has ever pointed them out and I've asked people to try and spot any flaws.

when the hood is HOT, you can only really see one of them.

once it cools, they are all over.

Honestly, I can't see any dents/blemishes in those pics. However, I'm sure its more noticeable in person. Anyways, definitely call up the company you bought it from and get it replaced... that shouldn't happen!
