I have spent a lot of time trying to tune my car. My latest adventure was replacing the head gasket because cylinders 3 and 4 had low compression. While I was replacing that I put a small 16g on as well as an eBay exhaust manifold. Replaced the exhaust, intake, and valve cover gaskets. I also replaced two exhaust valves and timing belt tensioner (same belt it was replaced under 10,000 miles ago). I'm not positive the timing marks on the cams are lined up perfect I had a lot of trouble with them they are as close as i could get them. I also put a 3" GM maf and maft on with a lot of problems, so I put the stock hacked maf on.

When I first started it with the GM maf on it started fine and idled fine. I let it warm up and grounded the timing plug by the battery. I had a pocket logger plugged in so the other ecu plug was grounded. I adjusted the timing (with light not logger) and idle it was at about 750 RPM's with timing at 5 degrees advanced. For some reason unknown i could only drive in reverse. (low power/Stalling when i released the clutch trying to drive forward) I put the stock maf that was hacked before I owned the car back on. It idled a little high, i drove it and at higher RPM's it would lose power almost like the clutch was slipping (possibly is). I was getting 15-17psi at 4500 RPM's WOT but the car would stop accelerating (while rpms boost rose) until i shifted. I got to jiffy lude to top off the transmission fluid after they were done checking it (full) the car would not start. I messed around with the RPM wire on CAS because i had problems adding the wire for the maft, after 15 - 20 mins it started up and drove the same as before i got there.

I got home and shut the car off messed with the wire for a minute. Went to start the car and it wouldn't start. So I soldered the wire and made sure the plug was connected to the CAS. After another 15 - 20 mins it Started up and idled quite high(2000 - 3000 RPM's. I tried to mess with BISS and CAS/Timing but could not get it down I shut the car off and went inside, came back out and it wouldn't start then I wrote this extremely long story looking for help!!

Thanks and Sorry it's so long.
