I'm new to dsm and turbo cars in general. I'm a mechanic fora living but can't figure out my cars problem at all. When I bought it the guy told me it had a code for the MAF sensor and it wouldn't drive under 4 grand. But once it started moving it ran great. Once I put the new sensor in and cleared the code it would only accelerate to 3 grand then start bucking. But when I unplug the sensor it's back to how it started. I've checked for vacuum leaks and boost leaks. I've checked the computer sensor ground but don't see any burnt paths. Can anyone please help me figure this out?

Yes. I had originally been looking at the connections. And as I just said I didn't see the hole in the hose because it was behind the braiding so it wasn't visible. I again say I'm new to turbo cars. I don't see performance type cars in my shop that have intercoolers and aftermarket parts. It's a little shop. I am very aware that I made a rookie mistake.

I'm not ragging on you specifically. It just cracks me up when people who have been in the DSM game for decades suggest people desperate for help to do simple and cheap tests (like a boost leak test) and they simply refuse. Almost always 2 weeks later it comes back as something that was suggested earlier.
