whenever I come to a stop the rpms drop and the car allmost dies. I dont think I have any leaks or anything. What could be wrong ?

Yea, CEL is on. Ill check what it means tomm.

yea, gas milage isnt that great. I took it around the block today and it was running good but then it started missing when I gave it some gas...

exactly...some days its good and others it runs like crap. Still gotta check the CEL ...

First thing you should have done is checked the CEL light before getting on here. Second you should have searched around. There are a million threads on why cars die when you come to a stop. CTS, IAC, not recirculating the BOV, incorrect injector dead time if you wanna get technical.

whenever I come to a stop, the rpms drop low and it stumbles and feels like its goin to shut off. It even shut off a couple times. What could be causing it? And is there a test to check for vacuum leaks?

yes, its a 1g bov and its recirculated. My car is an auto if that matters btw

it sounds to me like a boost leak.
i would check the ic outlet and inlet on the ic itself...
o the hose from the bov to intake pipe

That happened to me right before my battery died. I got a new battery, new spark plug wires, and cleaned the TB. So one of the three fixed it for me... idk if that helps you.

how did you clean the trottle body?
