I know this sounds strange but all day today my car seems to have been running a thousand times better, the exhaust sound changed and it pulls to redline alot easier. I have not changed anything since yesterday except i got a full tank of gas(usually only get 1/2 or 3/4 a tank) thats it. I run 15psi on the T2small w/ a big FMIC and cams, it feels like the boost was turned up but it wasn't. The only reason i'm posting this is cause usually when something good like this happens it ends very bad(like with my RS jumped time bent all in. valves). Its been like a night and day difference today, It normally wont do much after 4000rpms but today i was pulling to 6 and 7. I did run it kind of hard Friday(didn't drive Sat. and Sun) i wonder if that could have loosened up things? Could i possibly have a boost leak causing my turbo to over boost and not show up on the boost gauge. Sorry for making this so long, i just wanted to give all the info i could.

Thanks for any help :dsm:

I think that if you have a boost leak, your pressure at the manifold would be the same. You would just be pushing way more fuel.

You can make this tool to check for boost leaks:

Visual Frequently Answered Questions - Boost Leak Tester

Maybe you got a different type of gas than you normally get??

If you are worried about it I would probably just check all the fluids and timing and boost leak test what not and then and enjoy your God-given upgrade. :rocks:

*Edit*
Could it have been Spark Plugs??

Now that you have your fmic on, your intake temps are much cooler. My friend in his 97 tsi awd once ran me in my previous gst before he did his fmic and i always took him 1 car from a 20 roll or 40 roll.
Ever since after the fmic install, he always took me 2 cars regardless in th end. Quite some difference..

I'm going to do a BLT tomorrow and check my fluids, but i got the same Mobil1 93 octane i usually get. Normally on cold days when i first drive it, it pulls hard and drives great but after it warms up its just normal. But today it just kept pulling. The only other thing i can think of is that my driving habits changed over night.

Be careful, your wastegate arm might not be opening properly or opening at all. Make sure it opens, try it out with an air pump and see if it opens.
Don't keep running it hard until you get this checked out.

The gauge stops at 15psi but it feels like its set higher but once again i haven't changed anything in the past few months. If this is what a T25 is supposed to feel like with a FMIC, I can't wait to upgrade.
