car problems

Well when my car is cold it runs very well and it drives good until i drive it for a while and let it sit for 5 minutes or so and i go to try to crank it up and it dosent. All it does is idle funny and when i rev it has no power and and it revs and then cuts off. Any sugestions? I need to fix this fast? I was thinking coil packs?

well it can really be anything... i mean ANYTHING

I'll give you a couple of things to look over though and ask you a couple questions to get the problem solved.

Check Plugs and wires (make sure they are gapped, and wires are good)
Check for boost leaks
sometimes a coil can be cracked (but usually they don't run good in the cold and only when they heat up....they do run like crap when there moisture)
Check your ground on battery

Ok now for the questions

1. what RPM's do you noticed your car running like crap
2. how much boost do you get b4 it craps
3. Did you install anything lately before this occured?

nah i didnt install anything and the car runs great up until i cut it off and then it just wont crank and run properly but if i let it cool down then it would crank fine
