my car is starting up strangely but not all the time, it cranks, then idles rough between 200 and 400 rpm for a minute or two, then adjusts itself correctly. at wot open throttle it backfires and falls on its face and while cruising i can feel it 'jerk' every once in a while. i thought it was from the accumulated rust in my tank, so i put in a new tank, pump, strainer, filter, and had the injectors professionally cleaned (to which they said the injectors didnt really need cleaning). so i changed out the MAF, but to no avail. i hooked up a live data scanner and watched everything at idle and here is what i could remember...
B1S1=0.9v
tps=1.1%
IAT= 130*
engine coolant=210*
RPM=900-950
i didnt notice the map reading and i cant remember what the air flow reading was. at the time i did this, the car was idling smoothly. i could press the accel pedal and tps % would change, o2 voltage would drop, and air flow number would change. this has got me stumped. im thinking i either have: two bad fuel pumps, a bad FPR, or a bad ecu at this point.
and by the way, according to my VDO water temp gauge, im constantly running 220* and it gets up there within a couple minutes of driving after the car has sat all night and radiator fan comes on almost immediately when car is cranked
