She was pulling out of the garage and didnt realize my car was in the drive way and did this. No, she isnt able to pay for it so i dont know what to do. The paint just flaked off.

dont know what to do now. I have a 100$ deductible so thats a possibility. How much would a shop charge to repaint the bumper?

It'll problaby cost a couple hundred to repair and repaint. I would either make her pay or just get some estimates. But remember-you get what you pay for.

you keep saying "she" i hope this person is blood related or if not , then she isnt living anymore !

p.s
100 deductable is more worth if, if you dont want to buy the bumper maybe used and painted black already. Not sure but if you go insurance wise it might bump up your rates. not sure how your company handles this.

Insurance rates will probably go up if you file a claim for this-- any time they have to pay you money, they take their revenge by jacking up your rates almost every time.

It'll be about $175-200 to refinish and repaint-- a couple of guys around here (one of them me) just had this done as well.

If I was you I would pay the money out of my own pocket. It looks like your bumper just needs to be repainted. If you had the insurance company pay for it, thats going to be an expensive paint job, remember that it will stay on your record even if it isnt your fault for a few years(not exactly sure on how long, every state is different and I do commercial ins. and know only minor on personal). Good luck on your decision hope this helps.
