car does not want to start..getting fuel nd spark??

I'm posting up for my friend wit his gvr4. I"ve been trying to find out y this galant isen"t starting. I've checked for spark nd fuel wit it has. Still no luck, I've tried diffrent ecu"s., no luck.. Any idea"s ??

Have you ruled out compression?

Try a compression test

150psi every cyclinder..timing was on point also...

How exactly are you checking for spark/fuel?

Check for any major boost/vacuum leaks?

Is the car modified? as in it's being tuned with something? or stock ECU & settings?

My no start one morning turned out to be a broken coolant temp sensor wire. It through me into a loop trying to find the problem because I coul check injector pulse with a noid light and it would fire. just not enough to start the car. even spraying starting fluid into it would just make it fart not actually help it get started.

I loosened the fuel filter and primed the motor and fuel came out. I'm going to removed the injectors today to see if injectors are opening.. And for spark that's easy to check.

I'm pretty sure if a cps takes a crap you wouldn"t get spark but ill check it out..

Have you checked the plugs after cranking it for about ten seconds? Thats what drove me nuts at first. The plugs where dry everytime but my injectors were pulsing just not enough. Check the wires at your temp sender. there are three on the thermo housing. All it takes is a broken wire and it will not start.

Have you checked all the fuses? What about the MPI relay?

Ill check injector pulse when I get the chance, for now ill check the wiring by the coolent sensors. I had that problem with my 90gsx nd figured it out. I replaced this kid coolent senser wit one I had in my spare parts, but I'm going to tell him to buy a brand new one..

Mpi fuse? That's for fuel right?? It the little box next to the ecu? I haven't checked that. Which fuse should I focus on??

Any more suggestions??
